Squad Wiki

posted on May 11, 2016

Hi Squaddies,

It has been asked for many times over. Finally it’s here: the Official Squad wiki.

With the wiki you now have a new and powerful tool to collaborate within the Squad community and create and share content. We cannot imagine all the wonderful things the community will do with it, but we are sure it will be amazing. Of course, we will also be working on the wiki, but at the end of the day the success of the wiki will depend on you.

Right now you will not find much content on the wiki yet (although some early birds have already started making excellent contributions – thanks, guys). Therefore, we need your help to add useful content. Now that the wiki is here, the next milestone will be the transfer of the Squad user manual over to the Wiki. Together with Usgu, we have agreed to retire the PDF-based manual and to transfer its content to the new Squad Wiki. He cannot do this task by himself, your help is needed HERE. The manual will just be the starting point. Besides the manual’s content, you can add more and more Squad related content to the wiki. Get started today!

All community members interested in contributing to the wiki, head over to the Community portal. You will find all the information you need to know in order to become an expert wiki editor and a valuable contributor to the Squad community. If you are more interested in doing translations, please go to the Translation portal for more information on how to help out.

We have also created a new sub-forum for the Wiki. If you have topics to discuss concerning the Wiki, post it there. If you want to have a direct discussion, go to our Discord server – we have added a new text chat dedicated to the Wiki.

See you on the Wiki-side!

Offworld out.
